About The Role
Location: Pool, Cornwall
Salary: £35,220.56 per annum / £15.00 per hour
Working Hours: 45 hours per week
- Overtime: 1.5x after 45 hours
- Saturdays: 1.5x (Guaranteed 7 hours)
- Bank Holidays: 2x plus a day in lieu
- Potential additional earnings: £25 lone working bonus per day before overtime
- Bank holiday work required
- Driving RCV's collecting commercial waste
- Cover driver role, permanent and full-time, leading to a permanent route/truck assignment
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate vehicles to collect industrial and commercial waste and recycling from customers.
- Deliver a high standard of service while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
- LGV Class 2 license and CPC card are essential.
- Experience in the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with recycling vehicles and roll-on roll-off containers is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
- Passion for professional driving, good communication skills, and a willingness to be part of a successful, hardworking team.
