About The Role

Location: Pool, Cornwall

Salary: £35,220.56 per annum / £15.00 per hour

Working Hours: 45 hours per week

• Overtime: 1.5x after 45 hours
• Saturdays: 1.5x (Guaranteed 7 hours)
• Bank Holidays: 2x plus a day in lieu
• Potential additional earnings: £25 lone working bonus per day before overtime
• Bank holiday work required
• Driving RCV's collecting commercial waste
• Cover driver role, permanent and full-time, leading to a permanent route/truck assignment

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles to collect industrial and commercial waste and recycling from customers.
• Deliver a high standard of service while ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements

• LGV Class 2 license and CPC card are essential.
• Experience in the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with recycling vehicles and roll-on roll-off containers is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
• Passion for professional driving, good communication skills, and a willingness to be part of a successful, hardworking team.
