Driving Job Description

Cloudy Bay Clams is a growing shellfish company looking for a permanent full-time Class 4 driver, with the ability to travel between Blenheim, Christchurch, and Havelock but not limited to.

Driver main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Collections and drop-off of fish within the required time frames
  • Comply with the legal road rules and regulations, drive defensively, and display exemplary standards of a professional driver
  • Operation of your logbook in a legal and accurate manner. You will be responsible for taking breaks when legally required. Log books and time sheets must correspond.
  • Daily pre-start check sheet for your allocated vehicle before engine start, in line with Cloudy Bay Clams requirements.

What driver need:

  • Full class 4 license
  • Good communication skills
  • Clean and safe driving record
  • Forklift Certification and F endorsement are an advantage but not essential
