An Auckland-based business called Vatamai Transport Limited specializes in bulk cartage for the civil construction sector.
We need five additional heavy truck drivers due to an increase in workload and fleet. Candidates should be enthusiastic about trucking, have a positive attitude, be reliable, uphold a strong work ethic, pay close attention to detail, and have at least two years of experience operating heavy trucks.
Delivering aggregates from quarries to various construction sites, doing basic truck maintenance, and finishing the required documentation are among the main responsibilities.
An added benefit is knowledge of spreading, jackknifing & straight reversing a caravan.
All necessary safety equipment, as well as company uniforms, will be given. We are Site Safe NZ members, and each member of our staff has a Construct Safe certification. We take everyone's safety very seriously and will not put up with any misconduct or indifference.
Experience with a Road Ranger Gearbox is required. You must be familiar with operating loaders and excavators.
