Truck Driving Job Description

We are looking for a licensed code 14 truck driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers. The Ideal candidates must ensure to have a clean driving record and must pass alcohol and drug test.

Duties

• Long-distance transportation

• Arrive at the destination on the scheduled time

• Interact with clients professionally

• Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use

• Arrange vehicle repairs if required

• Keep mileage records and repair records updated

Truck Driver Requirements

• Grade 11-12 Preferred

• 2-3 years of experience

• Valid Driver’s code 14 License with PRDP

• Effective Verbal and written communication

• Sober Habits

• Organisational and Time Management abilities to plan routes and track deliveries.

• Knowledgeable of Traffic Laws and practice safe driving

• Physical Stamina to offload the truck
