Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Kwa-Zulu Natal has an opportunity available for a Driver (Code 10) to join the team at their Distribution Centre in New Germany. The purpose of this role will be to achieve operational excellence within the Dis-Chem Warehouse. Ensure efficient and accurate delivery of required goods to the correct customer in order and good condition.

Minimum Requirments:

Essential:

• Code 10 Drivers license and valid PDP
• Two years of relevant experience in a Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain Environment

Advantageous:

• Supply-Chain or Logistics Degree or Diploma

Job Description:

• Ensure the right products get delivered to the right store/customer at the right time.
• Use the shortest and most efficient route to the delivery store and back to the warehouse.
• Assist in developing and maintaining an organized and efficient loading and offloading system.
• Adhere to store and warehouse loading and unloading policies and procedures.

Our workdays are Mon-Friday with occasional Saturday work when required.

We have available fixed-term contracts for six months with the possibility of extension depending on the work we have available.

All successful applicants require to be available for a dedicated training day and will be advised of the day and time closer to the date.
